Knowledge Prerequisites
The readiness to cope with the topics of virtualization and OpenStack from a technical viewpoint and to understand the basics and contexts of the various components are the prerequisites for a successful attendance at the course. 

The implementation as well as the operation of OpenStack solutions require a comprehensive know-how in the fields compute, network, and storage. Today, most practical implementations are based on the Open Source Hypervisor KVM which will also be presented in this workshop and will be used for the exercises.
